Professional wine tasting table design for Bodegas Alcorta in Logroño goes beyond its basic function, becoming a dedicated environment specifically for wine tasting.

This table has been conceived considering the wine tasting process itself, creating a neutral environment that is also functional and aesthetically appealing. Constructed in Corian Glaciar White, the whiteness of the surface allows for an appreciation of the wine’s color. With these details, a significant visual component is added to the tasting experience.

With a rectangular footprint, the table takes the form of a sheet that folds at different heights, forming a central strip that serves as a table equipped with up to ten individual workspaces. The tabletop folds down to form side aisles where seats are placed, then folds back up and raises to create wings or ledges behind the seated person.

Each workspace features carefully integrated details, such as a metal tray on the right for glasses and a small sink on the left, which not only serves to discard wine during the tasting but also to rinse glasses. Any leftover wine is poured into another central sink on the table, channeled to an internal reservoir for later recovery in vinegar production.

A distinctive aspect of the table is the individual lighting of each workspace using halogen light fixtures. This feature allows participants to observe the wine’s transparency, adding a visual element to the tasting. The design of a professional wine tasting table for Bodegas Alcorta fulfills its practical function while also being a design piece that enhances the appreciation and enjoyment of the process.
