Pastamara restaurant interior design in Vienna was commissioned by the Ritz-Carlton Vienna, focusing on the renovation of the Melounge Lobby Lounge. The Pastamara is a bar that reinvents Sicilian cuisine, with Ciccio Sultano at the helm, and aims to be a meeting point for both Viennese locals and hotel guests.
Different environments are created: Lounge, bar, restaurant, and private dining room. Due to the lack of natural light, a large bar is located in the center of the venue, breaking the homogeneity. The pale olive green envelope contrasts with fresh elements, such as handmade terracotta tiles and natural fiber tapestries.
Natural oak wood on walls and furniture blends with the micro-bush hammered sandstone floor, evoking a space of soft tones, predominant throughout the interior design of the Pastamara restaurant in Vienna. On the other hand, an artificial skylight in the bar area and a fully backlit wall recreate the entrance of natural light, while the Calacatta marble bar and tables add white flashes of elegance to this relaxed and cozy space.
