Javier de Benito Institute renovation has been carried out in a 400m2 apartment on Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona.
The main premise during the renovation of the Javier de Benito Institute was to preserve the essence of the typical apartments in the Eixample district of Barcelona, maintaining original elements such as ceilings, cornices, and decorative elements in their original state.
Despite the complex program of consultations and technical spaces required for a plastic and aesthetic surgery clinic, the design departs from the conventional image of a clinic. A more domestic aesthetic has been sought, but with avant-garde touches that bring elegance and style to the space, distancing it from the traditional appearance of a medical clinic.
