Apartment transformation to office in Barcelona’s Eixample district arose from the need for a change of use, which involved leaving the floor completely open-plan.
The focus of the project was to preserve and highlight the intervention carried out. Structural elements were left exposed, retaining the characteristic cornices and mosaics of the local architecture. The idea was to showcase this transformation from an apartment into an office in Barcelona, displaying the supports and original elements of the construction in a design that reflected the essence of the rehabilitated space.
