Abarrote tasting space design, the latest gastronomic venture of the Murri Group. After the opening of TERRE and MURRI in Alicante, they focus on a more relaxed space, with the format of a tasting store and bar. In this place, diners have the opportunity not only to enjoy the latest culinary creations but also to purchase select products to take home.
Despite its small size, the space is completely open to the street, giving the feeling of an authentic store. To achieve this, the project incorporates a glass garage door that retracts into the ceiling, along with a neon sign that stands out on the street.
An attractive play of tiles, exclusively designed for this project in black and white, configures the background both on the floor and on the back wall. This is why the design seeks to highlight the presence of the central counter, creating a cozy and distinctive atmosphere.
The ceiling preserves the original concrete coffered ceilings of the structure and introduces a play of random lights. This not only reinforces the idea of a more relaxed space but also adds a touch of randomness and originality. The exposed installations, the track lights, and the suspended copper lamps over the bar complete the relaxed and welcoming image that is sought to be conveyed.
On one of the side walls, there is a covering of oak wood slats and black iron shelves for the display of products. On the other hand, on the opposite wall, large rolls of paper cover the surface, communicating all the dishes and products available to take away. This functional and visual layout adds a distinctive touch to the space, facilitating the customer experience.
In summary, the design of the Abarrote tasting space stands out not only for its gastronomic proposal but also for the careful planning of the space, achieving a relaxed, welcoming, and functional environment.
