Alioli Valladolid restaurant renovation is the second project entrusted by the González brothers, following the Wabi-Sabi tavern. The aim was to reinvent the space aesthetically while respecting the existing layout and elements, such as the bar and facade.
The gastronomic philosophy of the place remained a fundamental pillar in the design, resulting in a venue with a unique, relaxed concept with a touch of rebelliousness. The existing facade was painted in a vibrant yellow tone, in harmony with the color of alioli, adding attractiveness and highlighting the presence of the venue.
Inspiration was drawn from elements related to the sea, using black Pirelli rubber circles to cover benches and create irregular silhouettes reminiscent of octopus tentacles. Additionally, for the renovation of the Alioli restaurant in Valladolid, a set of suspended lights above the bar was incorporated, reminiscent of ship lanterns. The shelving made of enameled iron tubes in different colors, inspired by the ropes of fishermen’s boats, completes the fun and informal ambiance of the venue.
