L’Obrador Sabadell bakery design faithfully reflects the premises that have characterized the first locations of this bakery group.

The project stands out for its approach of opening the workshop to the store, creating a visual connection that extends to the street. This strategic layout aims to offer customers a complete experience by allowing them to witness the bread-making process at all times, from the different stages to the ingredients, thus rescuing the artisanal essence that has been sidelined over time.

Right near the entrance, a continuous cement counter stands out, emerging from the floor, providing solidity and serving as a base for a new topography formed by various wood blocks. These blocks act as displays, highlighting and presenting the bakery’s products attractively.

In the rear area of the counter, the display of bread plays a crucial role by becoming the visual link between the production process and the sale. This partition, composed of rotating wicker baskets on an iron contraption, stands out as the protagonist of the space by emphasizing the direct relationship between artisanal production and product availability for sale. Thus, in the design of the L’Obrador bakery in Sabadell, transparency and visual connection allow customers to appreciate the authenticity of the process and enjoy a more immersive experience in the bakery.
