Turris Calvet bakery renovation represents an adaptation of the first store designed in Illa Diagonal, incorporating the brand’s new corporate image.
The transformation of the retail space aims to convey the brand’s fundamental values, presenting a concept of a bakery with a point of sale. This environment, with an industrial look, is inspired by traditional bakeries, highlighting the importance of tradition and craftsmanship, with the intention of involving the customer in the creation process.
The presentation of bread is done through wicker baskets suspended on vertical iron profiles, complemented by shelves. Iron furniture, evoking the image of bakery carts, and an extensive wooden table with trestles serve as counters for the display of bread, pastries, and bakery products.
In the renovation of Turris Calvet bakery, a wall clad in white corrugated metal has been used to create an industrial touch and provide a neutral background. The facade opens up to allow more natural light in, increasing the visibility of the store from the street. Wooden carpentry is combined with the top lined with oak wood. In this way, it serves as a support for the logo painted with stencil, maintaining coherence with the graphic concept.
A distinctive element in this location is the incorporation of a false ceiling made of wicker, which adds warmth and recalls the material used in the bread display baskets, providing a cozy and unique atmosphere.
