Pasqual Maragall Foundation design, a company for Alzheimer’s Research was a commission considering the future activity of the premises as the foundation’s headquarters.
Simple and natural materials, without pretensions, were used. Pine wood covers the walls in enclosed spaces, such as the President’s and General Director’s offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and the staff kitchen. Transparent glass was used to separate the individual offices, taking advantage of natural light. An open office area was also left for multipurpose uses.
In summary, creating the interior design for the Pasqual Maragall Foundation positions Sandra Tarruella Interioristas as a versatile, creative firm capable of designing interiors for large organizations.
