Hotel Casa Mimosa design, the fundamental premise was to create a timeless space that respected the original elements of the building. Casa Mimosa is the new hotel of the H10 chain, presenting an architectural proposal that harmoniously combines tradition and modernity. Located in the same block as La Pedrera, the hotel offers privileged views of this iconic building.
The fusion of contemporary elements with traditional details is achieved through the use of natural colors and noble materials that bring sobriety and comfort to all spaces of the hotel. Meanwhile, the recovery of original elements, such as the entrance door, coffered ceilings, marquetry flooring, moldings, wainscoting, and fireplaces, contributes to creating an atmosphere that breathes tradition and contrasts interestingly with the new elements introduced.
The direct connection between the interior and the exterior is a highlighted aspect of the design, especially in the access to the former stables. This visual connection, from the entrance to the courtyard garden, highlights the aesthetic of the romantic garden typical of the inner blocks of the Barcelona expansion.
As for the rooms, they have been designed with the aim of making guests feel at home. The goal is to enhance natural light and offer warmth through the use of carefully selected materials.
Finally, it is worth mentioning the artwork that accompanies the entire design of Hotel Casa Mimosa. The ensemble is led by Emilio Lekuona and consists of a photographic report of the building taken at the moment before the start of construction. This adds a visual element that complements the narrative of the design and captures the essence of the building in its original state. Overall, Casa Mimosa presents itself as a space where history meets modernity, offering guests a unique and welcoming experience.
