This pizzeria was born from the desire of Xavi and Lidia, from the Lamont group, to develop a more informal restaurant concept in Andorra, with the possibility of expanding in the future.
The name comes from a play on words: a pizzeria located in the mountains and the idea of skiing off-piste (off-track), on virgin snow.
Located at the foot of the Grandvalira ski lifts in El Tarter, Fora Pizza has become a favourite refuge for skiers. You can leave your ski equipment either on the wooden latticework or in the lockers located at the entrance to the restaurant, from where you can see the entire space.

The pizza oven is the star of the restaurant, along with the custom-made stainless steel open kitchen. Both are framed by two other bars: the welcome/drinks bar and the one that connects to the interior kitchen, from where all the communal tables located in front of them are served. This layout optimises circulation and service, especially during the high season.
The neat and carefully designed comb-shaped layout facilitates fast, efficient and relaxed service. All this is complemented by special attention to detail, such as the choice of crockery and cutlery.
The atmosphere is welcoming, with natural colours and materials that complement each other—such as lime paint, walls clad with slats of different shades of wood and artisan stoneware flooring—enhanced by warm lighting focused on the product and the diners.

All the furniture has been designed and custom-made for this project by Fusteria Danés, and has been combined with iconic design lighting pieces: the TMC lamp by Santa & Cole in the entrance, the Minitopo by Stilnovo, and the Parentesi by Flos in the private room, illuminating a work by photographer Arnau Giol.
The elements chosen to decorate the space refer to the pizza-making tradition, such as an installation on one of the walls, composed of various reclaimed wooden cutting boards, evoking the classic wooden paddles used by pizza makers.
As the premises are located in a semi-basement, we decided to highlight its presence from the street by installing light boxes in all the windows, placed at different heights and positions. These, together with the warm light from inside, create a welcoming atmosphere at night, even from the outside, inviting people to come closer.
In terms of brand design, the graphic elements and logo are inspired by the zigzag pattern left by ski tracks in the snow, using a double Z to emphasise this shape. The typography was also given a look reminiscent of melted cheese on pizza, using warm colours that dialogue and blend with the atmosphere of the space.
