Corella butcher shop design space in the Sant Cugat Shopping Center is an adaptation that maintains the atmosphere of the previous location. To achieve this, natural materials and warm colors have been used, bringing customers closer to the company’s fundamental values: artisanal and sustainable production of its products.
The wood-imitation flooring blends with the ceiling, composed of natural fiber pieces, generating a sense of warmth and naturalness throughout the space. Additionally, the display cases, clad in white iro tiles, are distributed peripherally, leaving a central space for customer transit. Furthermore, these showcases irregularly intertwine with wooden blocks serving as areas designated for meat cutting.
The facade carpentry was painted in a distinctive deep red to highlight transparency in the production of their products. This element, present in the previous location, has been maintained as a brand hallmark in the new location. Additionally, for this project, an entrance with iron porticos enameled in red has been designed, framing the store and serving as support for the sign.
As an exclusive element for this store, the client’s desire to convey special care towards products intended for children has been addressed. For this purpose, an installation has been designed on the back wall of the store with 350 colorful pieces made with 3D printing. This installation not only adds a playful and special touch but also reflects the butcher shop’s commitment to attention and dedication to its products intended for the little ones.
In summary, the design of the Corella butcher shop space in the Sant Cugat Shopping Center reaffirms the identity and values of the Corella family. At the same time, it offers customers a welcoming space committed to quality and sustainability.
