Primera Vaca restaurant renovation for the Riojano Group by Carlos Crespo and chef Álex Ortiz, located in the tranquil village of Suesa, near Santander. It is set in a magnificent environment of trails and green fields, with the presence of cows and surfers passing through the area.

The original single-story house has been preserved, but given a special touch by cladding the facade with iroko wood slats. Additionally, an artisan pergola with reed panels has been designed on the access terrace, creating a countryside atmosphere with a rustic air and the perfect transition between the interior and the garden.

The garden stands out as an oasis equipped with large carpentries and furniture from Taller de las Indias. To achieve the perfect connection with the surroundings, a chillout area has been designed with sofas and low tables, around a magnificent magnolia tree.

Inside the renovation of La Primera Vaca restaurant, Sandra Tarruella’s design team has focused on the untreated oak wood bar. This way, all the focus is on the pizza showcooking that can be enjoyed upon entering the premises.

Simplicity and naturalness prevail, with whitewashed surfaces in a sandy tone and a cement floor. To complete the idea of a warm atmosphere, linen cushions, built-in benches, and ethnic elements have been used.

To highlight the presence of the sea and the countryside in La Primera Vaca, it is reinforced by the presence of iconic elements such as Kun_tiqi surfboards, black and white photographs, and pictorial works.
