Turris Molina bakery renovation, located on Balmes Street, transforms the space while respecting and preserving the distinctive identity of the brand. In the design of the sales area, with front access, the aim is to convey the brand’s fundamental values: the fusion of a bakery with a retail space. This environment, with a pronounced industrial look, is inspired by the traditional essence of bakeries, highlighting the importance of tradition and artisanal craftsmanship, with the intention of involving the customer more actively in the production process.
The characteristic bread display system is maintained, with wicker baskets suspended on vertical iron profiles. To showcase the bread, iron furniture with wheels is incorporated, evoking the image of carts used in bakeries. Additionally, they are combined with an extensive solid wood table, supported by trestles, which serves as a lighter counter for the presentation of pastries and cakes.
A distinctive element in this location is the incorporation of ceiling-mounted racks, made of pine wood, which not only serve to support projectors but also add a unique touch to the space. This variation is inspired by the previous design of Turris Aribau but stands out for the introduction of the corporate blue color. Furthermore, these racks extend to a lateral wall of the store.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the approach of the renovation of Turris Molina bakery is based on simplicity and functionality. Likewise, noble materials have been used, and superfluous decorations have been dispensed with, thus reinforcing the passion, closeness, and authenticity in the production of quality products such as bread.
