Notting Hill Kitchen restaurant stems from the passion of Filipa Teixeira and Godric Walker to offer a space for quality Portuguese tapas in the Notting Hill neighborhood. To carry out this ambitious project, they enlisted the collaboration of the prestigious Portuguese chef Luis Baena.

The main challenge of this project lay in creating a characterful space while maintaining a limited budget. The central idea was to simplify the existing architecture through color and lighting. Simple elements were combined, and noble materials were used to create a contemporary, relaxed, and warm restaurant.

The design focused on highlighting the authenticity and quality of the Portuguese tapas offered, using architecture and decoration to enhance the gastronomic experience. Despite budget constraints, a welcoming and attractive atmosphere was achieved, where simple elements harmoniously combine to create a space that reflects the essence of the Notting Hill Kitchen restaurant. This approach demonstrates that, with creativity and attention to detail, it is possible to achieve a distinctive and pleasant design within established budget limitations.
