restaurants
Barcelona, 2002
The Bestial restaurant is located in a large and full of light space in the sea front just next to the Hotel Arts and Frank Gerhry’s Fish in the Villa Olímpica of Barcelona.
The main access to the restaurant is solved performing an opening on the southeast façade, with a big glass-window made by the artist Frederic Amat.
Both formally as functionally the local is formed by two different parts connected on the entrance hall: the restaurant area and the bar area. This functional duality is reflexed in a volumetry constituted by two separated spaces, organised with special attention to the interior-exterior relation.
