In La Guingueta project, besides giving freshness and warmth to the idea of a beach bar, Sandra Tarruella´s team has interpreted Carles Abellan´s tapas concept and valued the fresh produce used on their cocktails and sprout juices.

Aside from the red tone, used as a base color and mandatory for all beach bars in Barcelona, we have added three other colors: orange, black, and military green, and combined with natural wood tables, wicker lamps, and the play of light passing through the wooden venetian blinds, create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere with a masculine touch. To the typical beach bar concept we have added some communal tables, benches with cushions to recreate a lounge area, and a corner of cocktails and ice-cream, where displayed fresh fruits and sprouts transmit the freshness and joy of natural colors, and at the same time serves to attract customers, and as a distinctive element of Carles Abellan creativity.
