LaLuz is the new gastronomic adventure of Grupo Tragaluz in Dubai.
Given the characteristics of the site and the commission to create a suitable environment to offer high quality Mediterranean cuisine, the intention of the project was to design an attractive and stunning restaurant, having ornamental richness, yet of timeless aesthetics, warm and cozy, and which could easily adapt to the activity throughout the day.
The use of vertical fins, in various metallic shades, placed on all interior walls of the premises, enhance the ceiling height of the restaurant, and the floral decoration of the ceiling which gave the perception of a golden garden to the whole space, allowed us to bring this desired ornamental richness, although controlled, but that played well with warm and noble materials to achieve a cozy and elegant space.
The selection of a variety of materials and furniture also allowed us to give greater luxuriance to the space and create different welcoming ambiences, where the use of natural oak and walnut woods, and upholstered in fabric and brown leather predominate. These were are also combined with other furniture pieces in iron, brass, natural stones and lacquered glass in white, black and some colored touches that helped us to highlight the glares, reflections and lightness.
