H10 Palacio Colomera
hotels
Cordoba, 2019

The new H10 hotel in Córdoba is in the old Casa Colomera, located in the Tendillas Square.

The project is articulated from the traditional Cordobés courtyard, which is accessed through the main entrance of the building on Tendillas Square. Here, both the reception and the cafeteria are found. After crossing the courtyard, guests can access the social area, where the restaurant is located with an exuberant garden that has Andalusian connotations. As a continuation of this space, guestrooms are found, followed by a terrace located on the rooftop, where guests can admire the cityscape and the famous Mosque of Cordoba.

The characteristic of the project is the emphasis on the architecture’s heritage, as well as by making an elegant and timeless proposal. The color palette chosen stands out due to the dark tones used, that reinforce the cozy character of the space, and at the same time, contrasting with the warm colors that prevail in those spaces with more light that are reminiscent to the tones typically found in the city.

The details, done in wood and other noble materials, are present in some of the elements that intend to match the original craftsmanship and the delicacy found in the premises.

The proposal tries to be in  balance with the character of the space, by developing a sober project that is in harmony with the region, and +where users can enjoy a cozy stay.
