Ena is the new project of the chef, Carles Abellan, in Seville. It is a restaurant with a terrace, where guests can enjoy a contemporary cuisine that fuses the Catalan tradition to the Andalusian. This restaurant is located in the famous Alfonso XIII Hotel, hence the name Ena was decided in honor of the monarch’s wife.
The restaurant is divided into two parts, the interior and the terrace, two spaces that were solved differently due to their own characteristics, yet they share a common language: to try to bring this restaurant closer to Seville, to the city, its citizens, and to its tradition of eating tapas. At the interior restaurant we had the need to standardize the presence of protected historic elements, give the bar a more night ambience and make the most of what was on the premises.
As a result, we chose the color “blu notte”, a color present in many ceramic ware in Seville and in the same hotel, a unifying color that allowed us to get a warm, cozy bar, where guests can enjoy a tapa and a cocktail both during the day or the night time.
