Barcelona, 2013

Our client, Unión Metalúrgica, gave us the commission to design an office space located in the Poble Nou district, where, on a tight budget, we had to make it more attractive. The space was meant to be used by a future tenant.

The space was redistributed, leaving two offices, a large meeting room that can be divided by a movable panel, and a versatile open space where working tables may be placed as needed.

The existing volume and the different materials where unified by selecting a neutral color paint.

The highlight of the project lies in the large lamps made with a wood frame and a variety of shades in different colors of linen fabric, and made in diverse sizes and heights. The shades give the space warmth, while containing the great height of the existing suspended ceiling.

Creative direction: Tarruella Trenchs
Project leader: Olga Pajares
Colaborators: Albert Martín, Anna Badia

Surface: 296 m2
Client: La Union Metalurgica, S.A.

Photography: Meritxell Arjalaguer
