Buenas Migas Passeig de Gracia
restaurants
Barcelona, 2017

The Buenas Migas refurbishment Project, located on Paseo de Gracia, is characterized by being a fresh, cozy, and bright space that opens towards the outside.

Large windows open the space to the outside, creating a large glass opening and blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces. The bars placed along the inner part of these windows allow guests to contemplate the activity of the street.

Two main materials have been used to develop the interior project: light-colored wood and off-white handcrafted vitrified ceramic tiles.

Ceramic tiles of different sizes generate a rich and textured interior facade. The other elements have been made of both pine and birch wood. On the tabletops, thin stripes have been added to bring dynamism and color. Both the white hues and light tone woods provide the space a comfortable and light ambience.

Stools allow a fluid space, where the views are connected and all the elements are integrated.

To end, the installation of suspended bamboo lamps should be highlighted. They form a dynamic and irregular composition that plays with different heights and shapes of lampshades.
